Shirodhara

Indian Ayurvedic Tradition

Shirodhara comes from the combination of Shiro (head) and Dhara (continuous flux).

Dating back over 2,000 years, it is still one of the most profound and relaxing therapies in Ayurvedic medicine.

This treatment consists of a continuous flow of warm oil over the Ajna chakra, forehead and temples, with slow and precise movements.

This is perfect for the three human doshas (Vata, Pitta and Kapha).

For a deeper and more therapeutic relaxation we recommend doing the Abhyanga massage before the Shirodhara treatment.
